Explanation

During fall semester, if we were going to take a trip north, we might say that "We are going on a color tour." A Canadian, however, would go on a "colour tour." Both would be considered standard English depending on the audience for the country to which you are writing.

At Schoolcraft College, we will use American conventions for spelling, grammar, and word choice.

Special Note About Spell Check: Spell check does not always properly correct spelling and grammar errors. It can only make guesses as to which word you mean. Ultimately, it is up to you to decide which word to use.
