Basic Formats:
Book

Please note that in MLA format, you capitalize the first letter of each key word in the title. In MLA style, the title of the book is written in italics.

MLA Style

Format

    Author's Last Name, Author's First Name. Title of the Book: Subtitle of the Book. City of Publication: Publisher, Date. Medium of Publication.

Example

    McWilliams, James E. A Revolution in Eating: How the Quest for Food Shaped America. New York: Columbia University Press, 2005. Print.
