Author's Name

As with all of your sources, you begin by making a bibliographic card.


Put the author's last name on each card taken from the source. In this example note, you will see that quotation marks appear around part of the paraphrased material. This is because that text was taken word-for-word from Ms. Champnella's book.


This system works well unless you have more than one source written by the same author or if you have two different authors with the same last name.
