Basic MLA Format:
Margins and Spacing
Use 1” margins on the top, bottom, and both sides.
Indent paragraphs ½ inch.
Indent block quotes 1 inch.
Double space all text
Number all pages including the first one
Place page numbers in the upper right hand corner of the page
Begin page numbers with your last name followed by the page number
Do not use a comma between your name and the page number
