Step 9:
Submit Paper for Evaluation

Once you have finished revising your research paper, it is time to submit it for evaluation. However, before you submit it, double check your syllabus to see if there are any special requirements. For example, some instructors want you to staple the paper in the upper left corner, some want you to use a paper clip to secure the pages, some want you to put your paper in a folder, some want you to submit it electronically via e-mail, some want you to submit your paper via BlackBoard, and some want it included in your e-portfolio.

Digital Literacy

Because some faculty members recognize digital literacy skills are important for the 21st century, you might be asked to post a version of your research paper on-line in the form of a web page, blog, or video. Even if your professor does not have such a requirement, you might want to create an on-line presence for yourself in order to demonstrate your skills to future employers or scholarship selection committees.

Return to Step 8: Revise Your Paper

If if you are not required to do, you might want to use Weebly to create a website based on your research. Such a website could be used to impress future employers or scholarship selection committees because it is one way to demonstrate that you have developed digital literacy skills.
